TBIJ strike ID: B7

At first 30 militants were reported as dying in this attack. But it subsequently emerged eight civilians were killed.

Initial reports said the strike hit a “Taliban facility”. However the death toll was revised down to eight and it emerged that the strike hit three houses and was followed up by a helicopter strike. An unexploded missile was recovered from the site, of a type not known to be used by Predators. Its markings indicated it was an old “dumb” missile made in the US.
