TBIJ strike ID: B17

US drones killed al Qaeda’s chemical weapons team and up to five civilians in a strike on a madrasa.

Egyptian chemical weapons expert Abu Khabab al Masri and his colleagues died in the attack. But al Masri’s family was also reportedly killed in the strike. The following day the CIA secretly apologised for the ‘collateral damage’ during a meeting with Pakistan’s Prime Minister.
